COTTON PICKIN, ANOTHER WORLD, ANOTHER TIME
This is my girlhood memory of life in Adana, Turkey. The women were picking cotton, but also being called to mid-day worship by the Iman. The plane, the U-2 can be seen in the backdrop, indicating U.S. military presence.
